A Life of Gospel Ministry
For more than four decades, Ricky Luster Sr. has used his voice, musicianship, and testimony to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ricky began singing with his brothers (The Luster Brothers) before going on to perform and record with The Highway QCs, Charles Johnson and The Revivers, and The Sensational Nightingales.
His ministry has taken him across the United States and throughout Europe, and he was blessed to participate in Gaither Homecoming video productions.
Throughout his career, Ricky has been part of beloved Gospel songs including “I Can’t Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand,” “I’ll See You in the Rapture,” “Let’s Have Church,” and “Sealed Till the Day of Redemption.”
In 2020, he released his solo project The Good Shepherd, an 11-song collection filled with messages of faith, comfort, grace, and worship. Today, Ricky Luster Ministries continues serving churches and communities through singing, preaching, and personal testimony—with one purpose: to glorify Jesus Christ and encourage His people.

Ricky’s ministry is rooted in songs that meet people where they are and point them toward the promises of God. Whether writing in the studio, recording new music, or standing before a congregation, he approaches every moment as an opportunity to encourage faith and invite worship.
His music brings together Southern Gospel tradition, soulful Gospel expression, and Scripture-centered lyrics. From The Good Shepherd to his latest release, “It’s Not Over,” each song carries a testimony of grace, perseverance, and hope.
